Governance
Freemans Park is also known as Body Corporate 178796.
Every year, our owners meet and elect a Chair and Committee to represent our interests and govern the community on our behalf. As a community, we benefit from their considerable knowledge, and life and professional experiences.
The Committee meets every month to oversee financial management, operational policies and decisions, the programme of investment in maintenance and grounds, and other significant governance considerations.
The minutes of Committee meetings are published on an online portal to help keep owners informed. The Chair of the Committee regularly emails owners to update them on recent developments and decisions.
The current Chair of the Freemans Park Body Corporate is Michael Wallmannsberger. The current Committee members are Jordan Carter, Marita Hunt, Cameron Law, Louise Pether, Kim Smith, Lindsay Spedding, and Michael Wallmannsberger.

Buildings and grounds
Freemans Park’s 17 residential buildings and 8.5 acres of landscaped grounds are carefully managed to maintain our reputation as one of Auckland’s most prized inner-city communities.
Each year, more than NZ$1 million is invested in Freemans Park’s management and grounds. This ensures our community meets the needs of current and future generations of owners and residents.
Our Building and Grounds Manager is Eddie Paunovic. He assists the Committee to undertake its responsibilities to manage the buildings and grounds.
Owners and residents can log building and grounds maintenance tasks using the MYBOS Resident app – available from the Apple App Store or Google Play.
Administration
Freemans Park engages a company to provide a number of management functions and duties.
Known as the Body Corporate Manager, the company provides administration and secretarial services to Freemans Park and its owners. It also provides financial, regulatory compliance, and record-keeping services. The Body Corporate Manager liaises with owners on behalf of the Committee.
The company currently providing these services to Freemans Park is Body Corporate Management Ltd, also known as BCA.
