  • After a successful initial trial between 142 Howe Street and 79 Beresford Street West, and positive resident feedback, the second phase will be undertaken to light additional interior dark zones.

  • The third phase, lighting trees around the park’s perimeter, is currently on hold.

The Body Corporate has engaged The Gardening Lighting Company to complete the second phase of the Freemans Park’s tree uplighting project.

The project is being undertaken by The Garden Lighting Company to improve residents’ safety at night by removing dark zones in the grounds, and to showcase some of our greatest assets – the trees.

The uplighting was initially trialled in the dark zone between 142 Howe St and 79 Beresford St West. Following positive feedback from nearby owners, the Committee decided to approve the second phase – lighting the dark zones and trees in the grounds’ interior.

The third and final phase of the project – uplighting a number of trees around the perimeter boundary of Freemans Park – is on hold.
