Freemans Park’s ageing and damaged signage has been replaced with new mid-century modern signs, which are designed to improve wayfinding, operations and transport knowledge – and reinforce our identity.
Basements upgraded and repurposed
Basements in all 14-unit star blocks have been cleared and transformed into secure electrical and storage hubs.
Upgrading the maisonette balconies
Freemans Park is upgrading 22 maisonette balconies to ensure they remain waterproof for our next 60 years. The works follow a detailed heritage specification, preserving their character while meeting modern performance standards.
Safely working at heights
Freemans Park is strengthening its working at heights safety systems, with roof anchors, annual certification, permit controls and specialist training being introduced. The programme supports safe roof access and long-term maintenance works.
